Moving out of state late in pregnancy
Has anybody moved to another state very late in pregnancy?
Anywhere between 31-34 weeks of pregnancy?
Did you fly or drive? Which is safer? I do intend on also asking my doctor these questions and things could always change the further my pregnancy goes depending on complications or not just wanted a general idea.
Me and my husband are in California right now. Both military. His active duty contract is up late June. I plan on changing duty stations to be closer to home. So we want to move back to Texas. We planned this before I even became pregnant. We both knew we wanted to go back home and now with baby #2 on the way it only makes that feeling stronger we want family support and our kids to know who their aunts and uncles and grandparents are instead of only seeing them once a year if that. With my husbands contact ending so late I may be moving very very late in the pregnancy.
Our initial plan was I was going to fly with our 2yr old and my husband was gonna do the 28hr hour drive in my car with our three animals. (Pray for us).
I just wanna know if it’s hard how stressful doing that big of a move weeks before delivery?
Was it safe?
Was it hard finding a doctor and getting everything situated so fast since you’re so far along already? Any tips or advice or personal life experiences will help. Because we know this is what we want but it kinda gives me anxiety thinking about it.
