Almost 32 weeks with twins and my blood pressure was high today at the doctors. (Has been normal this entire pregnancy) Could this be a sign that labor is coming soon?

Answer

Not usually. Could be a sign of pregnancy induced hypertension (PIH) or preeclampsia. But there is usually a slight increase in your blood pressure toward the end of pregnancy because your blood volume increases by 50% during pregnancy. If your doctor was concerned then they probably ordered other tests.
