When is a good time to have a baby shower?

Hi ladies! 😊 First time mamma over here! I’m currently 12 weeks and 4 days along in my first pregnancy and while I know I’m still early, I’m already thinking about the baby shower since it’s going to take a while to plan since I work full time! 
I’m curious on when you guys think is a good time frame in your pregnancy to have the baby shower. Obviously I don’t want to have it to early, but I also don’t want to have it too late in the pregnancy where I’m too big and uncomfortable to enjoy it! 
My due date is September 22nd, and I was kind of thinking possibly July? But I don’t know if that’s too late or not. Any tips and suggestions is much appreciated 🖤

I’m having mine at 34 weeks but I also was surprised that at around 20 weeks two different people approached me to offer to throw one for me. I think you should wait to do any crazy planning to see if maybe someone will do it for you. That’s the whole point, for you not to have to worry about anything but showing up. At least that’s what I think, I wasn’t planning on having one until it was offered just because of how busy I already was with getting work, home, and life in order for baby’s arrival.

With my daughter i was 36 weeks when i had my shower, I’m pregnant again with twins and will be having it at 31 weeks.

We are due at the beginning of September and are having our shower at the end of June at 29 weeks. My friend said to have it prior to 34 weeks so it gives you time but also because you have more energy as well. We might be doing ours a little early but our July is already super packed!

We’re going to have one when I’ll be 25 weeks pregnant. My sis and I are pregnant at the same time, she’ll be 30 weeks when we throw the shower, so this seemed the best time to do it— especially considering that she lives out of state from me and our family.

You may want it sooner! I was due at the end of February and had my first shower in November at 24 weeks. I had my second shower in the beginning of February at 36-37 weeks and I definitely preferred my first shower bc I wasn’t as uncomfortable.
