9w5d brown discharge.... miscarriage?

I know everyone tells me to chill and not worry but I’m having a bit of brown (old blood) discharge and I’m trying to to freak but I’m also a little crampy and burning up... we had an ultrasound a week ago and everything was fine. Baby’s heartbeat was 172... still I’m worried. What do you ladies think?

Pay attention to it and consult with your health care provider but it can be common to spot during early pregnancy. Most likely they will tell you to have pelvic rest (no sex) for a week until it stops. They may do some testing but it does not automatically mean miscarriage

As long as it doesn't get heavier and turn red, I wouldn't worry just yet.

Brown blood is usually old blood. You could have irritated your cervix with sex or your pap (if you had it done at your 8 week visit like I did).  Usually miscarriage is bright red new blood. Call your OB to be sure though.
