My fiancé and I are getting married the end of May and would like to book our honeymoon soon..we are hoping not to spend more than 2K..I did hear Mexico and DR are good places to visit

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Turks and Caicos! Depending on when you go, you can get really good rates on the resorts down there! It’s beautiful, clean, less crime and corruption than Mexico or Bahamas so you don’t have to worry about what might happen if you leave the resort area.

We stayed in playa del Carmen Mexico at a place called azul the fives. It was a great place we got married there and honeymooned the same time. Not sure the deal for two people because we paid for a lot of my family to go

Mexico is good. Theres also sandals resorts but that's usually taking off from the east coast and will run you 2k or a bit over your budget. Catalina islands off Calif are also good ideas

Punta Cana is gorgeous! We’ve been twice we loved the Barcelo resort. We went for our honeymoon and stayed at Breathless resort, water wasn’t as turquoise, it was more of a party resort not what we expected but we still had a good time.

Are you concerned about zika at all? Do you plan to conceive in the next 6 months? If so, check out non zika locations (Bahamas, St.Lucia...etc)
