Menstrual Cup: is it worth it?

Is the mensural cup worth trying? It’s $34 at Walmart. I usually wear pads but am wanting to try something new. I have heard many good things and that it’s more convenient. Before I cave in and spend the money I want to know if it’s worth it. Thoughts?

Try a soft cup - they’re usually sold at Walmart’s or Walgreens for between $5-10 or so. They’re disposable and come in a pack of 10. They’re not exactly like the reusable ones, they’re inserted differently and they look different, but using one will get you comfortable with the idea of them, and is a good way to practice a few times to see if it’s something you like or not.

Totally worth every dollar. And you start noticing the money you’ll be saving. Also you’ll be saving the environment.

Do it! I've had one for over 6 years, changed my life. No joke. As long as you're okay with your own fluids, go for it! I'm a huge menstrual cup advocate!

It can take a few cycles to get the hang of it so wear a thin pad or liner to be sure until you know the correct placement

I think it’s worth it but I would find one online, there’s a bunch that are way cheaper that may work better for you. I got 2 on amazon for $17

I second the soft cup...so comfortable I forget it’s there, plus, you can have sex with it in and not make a mess of your sheets.

I’ve only used mine one cycle so far and I already prefer it. One of my first days I definitely didn’t get it in right and it leaked but other than that it’s been comfortable and easy to use.
