How is she not hungry ?!

Question

Is it normal for an almost 6 week old baby to sleep thru the whole night ? Around 3am I tried to feed her bcus she seemed hungry n it had already been like 3 hrs since her last feeding but she only drank maybe 1oz it’s now 6:17am n she still isn’t waking up to eat 🤨
Edit: ok wen I finished writing this post she woke up to eat but I still want to know if it’s ok that she sleeps thru the night without eating, TIA

My oldest started sleeping about 4/5 hours at night right about 6 weeks. She was formula fed, formula fed babies don’t eat as often as breast fed babies.

As long as she is gaining weight and on track, then let her sleep. Usually they only require that you wake to feed every 3 hours for the first 2 maybe 3 weeks. 
They will wake up when they’re hungry. Mine was sleeping 5-6 hours at night by a month old and 12 hours by 8 weeks. he’s a chunky money. We breastfeed too.

Unless their has been concern about her gaining weight theirs no need to wake a sleeping baby. She will wake up when she’s ready and when she’s hungry.

My baby is now 6 months and she has always slept through the night. She wakes up once in early morning and goes back to bed. She is healthy and my doctor said not to wake her up. So she sleeps. :)

I swear I didn’t know this when I had my son, but once they regain their birthweight, you can let them sleep. My friend’s daughter slept through the night super early. When I heard this, we stopped waking my son up, and he was sleeping from like 9-10pm until 5am. I say enjoy it!!

My daughter began doing the same thing and by 8 weeks was sleeping 12 hours a night. Enjoy it because it might not last. From 4-6 moths my daughter went on a sleep strike.
