Baby sitting on bowel?? TMI

I have a really heavy feeling on my bowel as if I need to use the bathroom even though I’ve been 3 times today. Could it be baby sitting on my bowel? I’m 38 weeks pregnant, baby fully engaged and low. It’s very uncomfortable 😭

I could totally be wrong, but I think I’ve heard this could be a sign of labor? You might want to check with your doctor!

Irritable bowels is really common late in pregnancy. Your uterus pushing against your intestines can upset them, not to mention baby kicking down there and putting pressure :/
