How to tell my best friend I’m pregnant when she has had 4 MC?

So I just found out last week I’m pregnant and my husband and I are so excited. However, I’m not sure how to share the news with my best friend who has had 4 miscarriages back to back. She so desperately wants another child (she has 1) and I’m very hesitant to tell her my news. I don’t plan on telling her until I receive my first ultrasound and I know it’s going ok. Any pointers on how to tell her? I just know she will be heartbroken 🤷‍♀️

I’m someone who had a miscarriage and found out a good friend was pregnant very shortly after. I can’t speak for your friend but I know in my case, my sadness about my situation didn’t take away from my happiness for her. I never wanted her to hide anything from me or to not share her experience with me in an effort to spare my feelings. For me, it hurt more to be left out. 
I was still sad and some things were hard to handle but I was better setting my own limits on what I could participate in rather than having them set for me.

I wouldn’t rely on her being upset. I was ecstatic for my best friend. I was her second birthing partner, and I sat in the car and cried my eyes out before going home. I had a second miscarriage when she was about five months pregnant. The first was a year before she fell pregnant. We cried together, and when I found out I was pregnant a month after she had her son, we were joyous together, and cried again. I’m 24 weeks now. I have a friend who had four miscarriages (no living children) and then three healthy pregnancies.

She may not be heartbroken, she may be excited. Wait until the ultrasound and I’d tell her in a really private setting, like yours or her home so she can react however she feels!! Good luck.

I had a close friend that had been trying for a year to get pregnant when I got pregnant by surprise. She was very angry about it and let me know how it wasn’t fair she had been trying for so long and nothing had happened and then I got pregnant not even trying. She then found out she was pregnant when I was around 7 weeks and then she miscarried about two weeks later. She’s been mean and distant ever since and my son is now 7 months old. I tried to be there for her but she wouldn’t even respond to me. Good luck to you and your friend

I’m sorta in same boat. My best friend has pics and having a hard time conceiving. She recently stated how upsetting it is watching everyone get prego so idk when I’m going to tell her really. Prob after we are 10 or plus weeks
