Postpartum bleeding care

Hi ladies. I had a vaginal delivery on Tuesday and ever since have been bleeding like crazy. I use maxi overnight pads with witch hazel cooling pads and tucks on top of those big pads they put down on the hospital beds for us. The swelling is almost completely gone but now it’s as if it’s burning down there, like the skin. I know I have stitches on my labia (not sure how many) but have any of you ladies experienced burning on top of the bleeding down there? Doesn’t hurt to pee until the pee touches the skin but it just burns in general. I was thinking maybe it could be from the pads rubbing against it when sitting? I’m not sure, I was just told to look for infection and I’m not sure if this could be it. Thank for the help!
