I have been losing bits of my mucus plug everyday and the amount is getting bigger

Everyday when I wipe throughout the day I have bits and pieces of my mucus plug and the amount of it gets more and more. I literally wipe up my mucus plug every single day, I’m only 33 weeks and 3 days. Does this mean labor is near? I’m pretty sure I’ll have my baby around 36/37 weeks, but I just want to be 100% sure if that means labor is near or going to be near
