I am a Christian,but I support LGBTQ+ too,is that okay?I’m just a ally.

I’m confused and scared.

I think there's a big difference between supporting Gods people and supporting Gay marriage. 
So I guess it depends on what you mean by support.
As others have said God hates sin but loves all of his people. I think God would love you loving anyone LGTBQ whatever....I think God would have a problem with you supporting Gay marriage.

I will always try to love and respect a child of God regardless of their choices but I won’t actively go to a LGBT+ event and protest.

We can love the people but not support their ways ..

We are called to love everyone and treat everyone with kindness and love and respect. However, LGBTQ individuals are engaging in sinful behaviors and we are not to support sin. Therefore, we should be kind and respectful towards them and love them as Jesus has called us to, but NOT to support them or their sinful lives. Therefore being an ally for them is wrong imo

Here's the thing God said to love everyone as I have loved you. He is no respecter of persons and does for everyone. (As far as spiritually; obedience, salvation etc is separate)
We all come through sin remember. Sin is sin there are just different consequences for them but because we are not God we do not know what they are. So because we are not God, perfect etc we have to and should want to show love to everyone whether you agree with their lifestyle or not...because at the end of the day you will be judged by how you treat others. Now with me saying this showing love to everyone does not mean you have to stand behind everything because you don't. I live by the word of our Lord Jesus and staying in obedience is absolutely imperative🙏❤

God does love everyone, but he doesn't love all of our decisions. He was clear on his standards for relationships, being between a man and a woman. But that doesn't mean that he doesn't love people who break his commands. They are His children and He loves them. But sin ultimately separates. So, it is up to the individual to decide what they love more... their lifestyle? Or their creator and ultimate decider of their eternity.

It is not ok to support anything LGBT, the same way it is not ok to support even heterosexual pornography, lying, cheating or adultery because it is all sin. We all sin but the Bible tells us that if we practice sin, we are not a true child of Christ. As a past bisexual woman who still struggles but does not practice in that sin, being LGBT is part of a choice that we all have to make, we either love ourselves and our passions or we love Jesus above all things and do the things that He commands.
