So I just read a blog post from a Christian blogger who explained certain verses and how to deal with toxic people as a Christian. It didn't really explain what to do if that toxic person is a family member.. My husband and I had to move in with his parents to figure out a living situation, well we are going to build on their property blah blah blah to get to the point.. My MIL is the toxic person in my life and I pray for her and I'm good to her but I physically can't separate myself from her. I love her and I obviously would like to have a healthy relationship with her but I cant be around her for my own mental sake. I was told to let God do the work and to physically separate myself from people who shove me away from Christ and my faith but in the mean time what do I do? How do I go about this in the best way without telling my husband we have to move off the property (he's dead set on staying here) what do y'all think?
