Tips for Moving Out 🏡
Hi! So I’m 21 & I’m so over living at home. My mom is beyond forgetful so I’m basically doing everything. My older brothers trigger my PTSD & don’t do shit for themselves & all of the animals (2 dogs & 2 cats) come to me for everything because my brothers don’t take care of their dogs.
I’m currently unemployed but I’m looking for a job. Minimum wage in my state is $7.25/hr & my job history isn’t that great. (Honestly thinking of just scratching my whole resume & “starting over” these were jobs from when I was really young & depressed & don’t reflect who I am now as an adult). I currently only have my permit & I plan on starting to work with my mom or close by her job.
I have a friend who recently got out of a relationship where she was living with her boyfriend & I asked her after she got herself together (car, etc) if she wanted to get a place together & I think she’s down for it. We don’t have any drama. She’s hella chill & responsible. So why not? Obviously makes contract & read & agree on everything
I’m asking for any tips on moving out. I’ve only lived in this one house my whole life. I don’t know what I’m doing or how much I should save.
My dad offered to get me & my brothers driving lessons & a car but I’m over waiting for him (he wants to use the tax refund that he gets). I’m hoping I can find a job that’s about $9/hr.
Anything & everything would be helpful. I’m dead set & serious on moving out. I’m too stressed & anxious & I know it will do me more good than harm.
TIA❤️✨
