the tragedy of getting dressed

Whenever I have to completely change my son’s clothes and diaper (getting dressed in the morning or into pjs at night) he throws a complete fit like it’s the greatest tragedy of his young life. He fights me a bit on all diaper changes but nothing like this. Crying, screaming, thrashing around. This just started in the past couple of weeks; he’s 15 months old. I’m pretty sure it’s just normal toddler behavior—he doesn’t like that he has to stop playing for something as mundane as a clean diaper. But it’s really getting exhausting.
