Issues with baby led weaning 😤😱

It’s starting to drive me nuts that I cannot receive a straight answer. I’m inserting a photo with some circled spots.

About my baby:

So The foods are soft enough for her to squish in her fingers right... well, she had had a strong jaw from day one she’s had a strong suck, and she chews pretty hard, she can easily bite chunks off. SO WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SHE BITES OFF A CHUNK IN THE CIRCLED PARTS. Sure they’re SKINNY enough, but what about when she sticks half of it in her mouth and bites off half of it. Or when she squishes it and creates a gouge, so when she gums it, it breaks off in that spot, and it has created a bit so safe shape/size??!

This is never talked about when you read or get answers on BLW. I feel this is just asking for your baby to choke. Why would you risk that. What am I missing. How do you Mother’s do it. I can’t wrap my head around it, but I am really NOT wanting to do purées. Everything about BLW has me sold in the idea, EXCEPT the shapes and sizes.

What about bite size pieces that she can grab in her fingers, that are small enough to not choke on, but she can squish them when she picks it up? Reduces choking hazard?! Ftm, scared shitless, and not wanting to risk my baby choking and traumatizing the poor girl lol.

photo of my concerns:

Like that sweet potato is so wide - what happens when baby bites that chunk off, looks like choking hazard size to me.
