My step grandfather passed away recently. He had a lot of medical problems and was in the hospital. I did not go to see him, I did not say goodbye in his final hours, and I have no intention on going to his services. He was a mean and heartless man. He screamed at people who didn’t deserve it, he called me horrible names, and did some unspeakable things to the people who loved him. Does it make me a bad person to not mourn him? I’m not happy he’s gone and my heart hurts for those who are mourning but does it make me a bad person for not feeling any different?
