Pregnancy Medicaid question ...

Have you ever been kicked off of pregnancy Medicaid for having private insurance?

I am a nervous wreck! I have UHC (under my husband) and applied for pregnancy Medicaid. I was approve and plan to use it as secondary. Well due to a technicality I had to call Wellcare(medicaid) to have my card resent because it was sent to an address where I no longer reside. When talking to WellCare they asked if I have any other healthcare coverage and I was truthful and said yes. When I said yes the customer service rep was taken aback!

**When I applied for Medicaid I put I was insured privately & gave all info regarding it. So they should have it on file then right? And if they don’t maybe Medicaid didn’t report & if they had I wouldn’t have been approved??? 🥴

Now I’m nervous that my coverage will be cut!!
