How often do you get ultrasounds ?

I had my first ultrasound at 10 weeks 2 days but I don’t know if they were just super busy and missing information to tell me or what but they made it seem like I wouldn’t see the baby for another 10 weeks. Do you only get 2? I’m just confused. I live in New Mexico if anyone is from here !

My doctor does 3. One at 8 weeks, one at 12 weeks, one at 20 weeks. I'm getting a 4th one on Monday at 36 weeks because of her position and to check her growth as well. She isnt positioned properly so we're hoping to see and determine the chances of needing a c section, especially since she has consistently been measuring big.

In Denmark you only get two.
One around 12 weeks and another around 20 weeks. If there is any cause for concern or something they would like to keep and eye on, you might have more. I got diagnosed with GD and then you get growth scans every four weeks up until birth to make sure baby isn't getting too big.

Ultrasounds are usually 2 unless they can't get imaging the 1st time, or high risk. My office does do the doppler at every visit though, so maybe you could ask them about that.

I live in Santa Fe NM and ive gotten three so far. 20 weeks for anatomy scan, 22 weeks for a follow up and 26 weeks for a second follow up. It just depends on what your doctor seems necessary

If you are generally healthy then you may not get one as often. For me, I got one at 5 weeks, 9 weeks, 15, 20, 24, 30, and 32. Reason being I had l had previous miscarriage and was on blood thinners for this pregnancy.
