Why is my dog peeing and shitting everywhere?

My dog is about 6 months old. We thought we were going good with training but as she’s getting older, her behavior is getting worse. She pees everywhere and poops everywhere. Along with that my cat is spraying in random places, when she NEVER used to do that. My house is a disaster. We used to let my dog roam around the house when left alone but she destroys things as well. So now we lock her up in the hallway with water, food, a very comfy bed and many toys for her to place. SHE ALWAYS FINDS A WAY TO ESCAPE. I’m so over it and sad about this whole situation. I need help. I have pee pads in three different places and set her down each time she doesn’t pee where she’s suppose to. What do I do? Urgent help.

6mos is way too young to roam. Should be crate training.

like other have said, i think it would help if you crate trained her. also Monitor her food and water. 6 months is a tough age, that’s why you see a lot of dogs in shelters 6months- 1 years old range, they go through stages in life just like us, it’s important to establish a routine now. crate training will do wonders for u

... sounds like you need to either, go let her potty during the day or crate her during the day... And go for a long walk in the morning before you leave and a decent walk in the evening when you get home for the evening... And when you're home make sure to get her outside before she uses the bathroom in the house.. and take her to the same spot and don't go in until she goes to the bathroom.. until she understands to go to the door when she wants to potty.. and don't let her have food other than in the morning before your walk  and before your walk in the evening.

Has anything changed recently?  We have an 11.5 year old lab a 2 year old mix and a 15 week old puppy.  the 2 year old got jealous and started peeing in the house again, but he got over it and hasn’t in a few weeks.  Maybe the puppy needs to go back to basics.  She’s still a puppy and maybe was given too much freedom too soon

I wouldn't allow her to have access to food all day. We feed our dog in the morning, and in the evening. I wouldn't leave her with water when you leave either if it's just for maybe a 1-3 hour period.
Have you crate trained her? We don't leave our dog out when we leave. He has a large crate he sleeps in at night and when we aren't home. 
Do you have carpet? If so you need to get an enzyme cleaner so the dog won't smell old urine and think it's okay to potty in that spot again. 
I think cleaning old spots with the cleaner, and not leaving her with food will help a ton.
