Hi I joined Glow my first pregnancy which was a whopping 10months ago. I hated being pregnant my first go around it wasn’t expected and every symptom and step felt like a mountain to overcome. I was 19 living with my boyfriend and had a beautiful babygirl two weeks after my 20th birthday. I was induced my first pregnancy and had a few complications. A few months later my boyfriend and I break up I move out and go live with my parents. I started back working when she was about 3 months and this stopped breastfeeding. I only remember getting my period once. Recently I have been having extreme back pain but I also have a herniated disk from a car accident years prior so I see a chiropractor regularly. Last night after working a double shift I had pain shooting down my leg and decided to go to the hospital. There (after waiting 5 hours) they tell me I’m not only pregnant but pretty darn far! Though the ER Dr wasn’t an OB he estimated I was late second trimester or early third from the size of my uterus. So I’m due in a matter of months and needless to say I’m not prepared. I told my parents who of course are disappointed and disapprove of any venture I embark on. I know of girls my age and younger with two kids but I’m not ready and the past 10 months with LO has been a constant adventure. Not to mention being a single mom is hard enough with one child. And 2 in diapers i don’t want to imagine. My parents help when they can but they know I’m going to school online and work a lot so I’ll have to change my life again because they’re not the type to step up with issues such as these especially seeing it was my mistake and they constantly pressure me and we always have parent vs grandparent clashes it’s just overwhelming to think about already.
