I am currently pregnant with my first baby after 2 years of TTC. I am 33 weeks and a couple days. A few days ago, I noticed some soreness and then a flare up of blisters occurring. I have never had a HSV2 confirmation, but my ex told me he may have had it. When I tried to get checked for it (4 years ago) they said they couldn’t test for it unless I had an outbreak and they tested the sores. I never had an outbreak ever and assumed I was a lucky one and didn’t have it. That being said, I’ve never brought it up to my current OB because I hadn’t thought about it in years. I have an OB appointment today and I’m so nervous about bringing it up to my doctor and trying to determine how this will go the rest of my pregnancy 😩😩😩
