Finding Mom friends locally was HARD until...

Brittney

Before becoming a mom, I was a bartender for over five years. 🍻🍸

When my husband and I decided to have me stay home with our son - life happened - and a lot of the friendships I had have began to fizzle out 😕 I mean, mom life and bar nightlife don’t mix very well 🤷🏻‍♀️

When my son was about six months old, I was lonely and needed a change of pace. I joined a lot of support groups on Facebook and quickly found that I absolutely love using social media as a tool to engage with and learn from other mothers.

A few weeks ago, I was going through a post on one of these groups and saw a comment from somebody mentioning that they have used the Peanut app to find local mothers with similar interests and even children around the same age. She said it’s “like Tinder for mommy friends.” What?! I had to see what this was all about.

Since recently joining Peanut I have come to love the community discussion boards the most. I have even made a few connections with other moms near me and my son and I are planning our first play date for later this week with our [hopefully] new bffs! 😋

If you’ve been trying to make friends with other Mamas and not having much luck, check out Peanut!! 🥜
