TRIGGER WARNING - Is this acceptable?

So, I was scrolling through Instagram and came across this video

Basically, her daughter was a heroin addict and she is dying. She’s only 26. The mother showed her do not resuscitate order, showed the daughter’s arm turning blue because she is dying, and repeats in the video to not do drugs because one day, “this is where you’ll end up”. The daughter is saying absolutely nothing in the video, because she’s clearly struggling to breathe and is barely alive. She’s gasping for breath.

So, my question is, was the mother in the right for posting this? Should she have recorded her daughter?

In my opinion, I think she should’ve kept the camera put away and spent her daughter’s last moments with her instead of shaming her. She could have easily shared her daughter’s story after her death to promote the message of staying drug free. I think it was incredibly disrespectful how she went about this.
