I have a week off work coming up soon, my SO does not. I've been thinking about going on a trip to a beach and just hanging out alone for a week, but I don't know how to bring this up with him. I don't want him to think I want to get away from him (we live together). I just want a change of scenery for a bit. What would be the best way to bring this up? I also worry about him possibly being jealous that the nature of my profession allows for more flexible vacation options than his.
