From what I’ve been told by my OB and other ladies who’ve had children, as long as your doctor says it’s okay it’s free game. Just listen to your body and know when to stop or ask questions.

You know your limits.. kinda like exercising! If your used to running a 3 mile marathon you can continue to do so but on a lower scale. 
I’m not saying ride like your running a horse in the KY derby but you can still participate.

I had to go a bit gentler until about 8 weeks, now it’s more fun than ever.  I am a bit more sore after than I was before pregnancy though.

Rough sex will likely cause your cervix to start bleeding  since your cervix is very sensitive during pregnancy.  I wouldn't recommend rough sex.
