Humans of New York -more details-

Not sure how controversial this is but recently as I was reading the comments for one of his posts at the special Olympics a few people were harping on him for making a patreon account that helps different people he meets and that he’s trying to be a white savior ( sorry if that pushes it). I was curious if y’all had any opinions on what Brandon does and how he handles things.

If this isn’t hard hitting enough I will remove the post 🙂

In case you don’t know, Brandon is a guy from New York who started a personal project of photographing people and asking about their life story. He then would post it on his Facebook/Instagram which eventually grew huge. He now travels to many different places that may be experiencing a crisis or having an event to raise awareness and to show you a different perspective. He recently opened up a patreon acct to have funds that he can offer immediately to people if they need it and all the help he offered benefits directly to what they need.
