acne on the pill

i’ve been on birth control for two months now and my acne that came when i first started is not as bad but still hasn’t gone away. before starting the pill i literally never got pimples except for a few on my period. do you think this will go away within the next couple of packs? or do some people keep it forever? i’m only on it to regulate my periods but if the skin problems don’t subside i’m probably gonna stop taking it bc it’s really fucking annoying
