My two daughters are 7 and 5. Yes that does seem very young. However, I am usually very open with them about most of what is going on. They will be 8 and 6 when I give birth to their little sister. Obviously I would not have them near the blood and my privates, but I was thinking about having them by my head.

They have had a ton of questions and where babies come from and how they come out. I tried having a conversation with them, but they don't quite understand. Maybe it's a clue to not have them in there. Lol

That being said I would like them to learn from me and from this experience vs from other children at school. I don't want to traumatize them, but I also want to educate them. Who knows, I may have a future OBGYN as a child.

**I appreciate everyone's opinions on this subject. However, please do not bash my children and my family. It was just a thought that went through my head and I figured I would put it out there in case other moms or dads have been thinking about it.
