11 week 2 day Ultrasound 🌿

I got an elective ultrasound today because we wanted an up to date one for our announcement pictures we are taking this weekend! They’re having a hard time picking up the heartbeat by Doppler because not only is the placenta towards the front (it made it difficult for them to even get a clear ultrasound picture!), but baby is SUPER active! She did try to measure it by ultrasound and thinks it’s at 150 but hard to tell since baby was moving around so much. Heart rate was 169 at 8 weeks. I got to see baby jumping around like crazy and it honestly made me laugh. I think this is the least anxious I’ve felt so far in my pregnancy. I took my NIPT blood test yesterday so we should also know gender in a week or so! October can’t come soon enough 💕
