Is every other day good?

Question

I had positive ovulation test yesterday... had cramping on both sides (was diagnosed with blocked fallopian tube but not sure anymore) 
And we did it every other day...
In the past it was like 2 days in a row before ovulation.

My doctor told me to BD at least every other day, from when my period ends until I get my next period. My cycles are different so it’s hard to pin point my ovulation. She is thinking I ovulate late in my cycle. She said every other day is perfect and will give you a good chance and cover all bases!

Is every other day good?
