Blessed!

My son they think was a premie and came at 35 weeks. He was born without finger nails, toe nails, had a really high arched palate, small features like nose and chin and had tissue connecting his eyelids still. We had been on the wait list for several months to see a genetic doctor to be tested for any conditions or syndromes. Super scary feeling as a single mom and zero help! How am i going to explain to him he’s different or kids won’t hold his hand cause they look different. Well he started to grow nails and they are normal now. We moved to Florida and saw a genetic doctor. He came in and said after reading his hospital discharge papers he thought he was walking into a difficult disaster patient. He examined my son and was fumbling over his words. He said do you go to church or believe in God. I said yes i have been praying over my son everyday since he was born as well as my family and friends. He said that’s the only thing he can come up with as to why my son is normal now. Everything wrong he was born with corrected itself. Doctor said he had never seen this before and was speechless and had zero explanation how or why this happened besides God and all our prayers. I had chills and goosebumps the size of apples when he said this. I needed to hear this at that moment as things have not been working out for me in Florida and i was debating on relocating to back to Iowa. This was God reminding me to pray and he will take care of it!!
