Frustrated with my fertility consult

I went to see a Dr today for a fertility consult. My hubby and I have been TTC for 6 months with no luck yet. I have slowly come off my anxiety meds this past month, so this cycle has been really long for me. I was thinking it was because my hormones are messed up after coming off Zoloft. This cycle was 48 days. My cycles are normally 32-35 days.

First of all, the Dr was confused as to why my cycles arent the "typical" 28 day cycles. She said I should be ovulating on CD 9-14. I use opks every month and always get a peak around CD 22. She was just so confused as to why my cycles are longer than "normal" 28 day cycles. I continued to let her know that i have never had a 28 day cycle, and never ovulate before CD 14. She apparently wants to figure out why I ovulate "late". Even though in my eyes my 32-35 day cycle is normal for ME.

Then she explains that Zoloft should not mess up any of my hormones to cause a long cycle. Well Zoloft is a medication that deals with hormones with your brain. I have never had such a long cycle and now that I have slowly come off that med my ovulation was delayed. That seems to be the only explanation to me. Nothing else has changed. She shut it down right away.

She wants to test my blood for Lutenizing hormone on CD 19-21 to confirm that I ovulated. But she doesn't understand that my LH will not rise at that point because I wont have ovulated yet!! I am just frustrated....

Any input or thoughts??? Now I'm scared there is something wrong with me 😥
