Aeroflow breast pumps?

Has anyone used this service to get a pump? Is it just as easy to just call your insurance company and have them send it??

I did. I put the info in on their website. Got a reply the same day showing me all of the pumps that I qualify for. I picked one and it will be shipped around a month before my due date! Super simple. I’ve emailed about questions and always get a quick response.

I used them-it was so easy. They contact your doctor for the prescription, then your insurance company. They’ll send a list to choose from of what you are qualified for. I was told insurance likely wouldn’t approve until 1 month before my due date, but I got it in Jan or Feb. I’m not due until June. It was so easy and I only had to respond to like 2 or 3 emails-was never on the phone with our insurance company at all. It has already come through our plan for free on the explanation of benefits-so I know they for sure approved it and I won’t be charged later. I would highly recommend. They are all so sweet and helpful!

Insurance doesn’t usually send one themselves. They can give you a list of suppliers that they accept and you can pick a pump from one of the suppliers.

I've used aeroflow both of my pregnancies. Super easy. Your doc can give you a script that you can take to a medical supply store too but you have to know what your insurance will cover.

I called my insurance at first, before I knew about Aeroflow and it was a mess. I was getting passed around from person to person for over an hour. With aeroflow I just filled out the paperwork online, got a call 2 days later I think, and had my pump 2 weeks later.

It requires a prescription from my Dr which was easy as pie. Submit it get the approval and then pick out your pump. They send it. It's easy.
