Ever feel this way?

I help everybody. Every chance I get. Need a ride? Alright. Need money? Okay. Need somewhere to stay? Have my bed. Need help? I got you. I do it because I love them. Like I seriously do. But I’m just starting to feel like I shell out so much and help everybody but when I need or want something there’s nobody there to help me or give it to me in return.

I had this issue too. And I know it’s hard but you’ll learn to say no to whoever it is no matter who they are. This past week I’ve had 2 people ask me for money and those 2 people have NEVER paid me back out of the millions of times I’ve given them money. One of the people, I have given her at least hundreds of dollars altogether and haven’t seen a penny in return. She would always say “I assure you you’ll get it back this time when I get paid” and never not once had she given anything back and the ONE time I asked for her to pay me back, it turned into an argument! She still asks me for money as she has a baby now but I’m pregnant and I have my own baby to worry about now. Idk if it seems harsh but I can’t let her run over me now cause it’s taking money from my baby. And with her having a baby now I’m positive that she’ll never pay me back. Sometimes you have to do what’s best to you and just be passive aggressive. No matter what they feed you just tell them that you can’t do it. They’re not your kids, we’re all grown and have other things that we have to worry about. And you’ll never get satisfaction out of a one way street 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m sorry that this is happening to you and good luck baby!

You should never do anything for anyone with the hopes of getting anything in return. People help you when they can or when they want to. Period. If you have any expectations of anyone returning any favors to you because of what you’ve done for them, you’re doing it wrong and you’re going to be disappointed.
