Do you go out with your baby in the evenings?

I'm wondering if mamas usually go out with their babies in the evenings? My friend asked me to hang out with her in the evening at 7pm and to bring my daughter, but I told her no because that's around the time of my baby's bedtime. I feel sort of prudish (or I don't know the right term to use), but am I the only one like this? I rather my baby be comfy in bed for her bedtime, and possibly even keeping from messing up her bedtime. Thoughts?

I voted no. I will make exceptions for special occasions (like Sat night we met for dinner with friends and their kids visiting from out of town) but we met at 5:30 and were home by 8:00. So while we got our LO to bed later than usual, it wasn't super late. I would never agree to meet at 7:00 since that's when we are typically doing our bed routine. 
There's a class my husband and I want to take, but it's on Fridays from 7-9. It's just not worth it! Sleep + routine is too important right now. When they're older you can be more flexible.

Nope. Her sleep is more important to me. Even considering not going to a wedding in a few months because it's at 3 pm and idk if we can work around her naps 😬 sleep is really important to our sanity lol

Nope! We keep a strict bedtime for both kids and rarely make exceptions (Christmas is the only one that comes to mind). I’d get a babysitter and go out after bedtime before I’d take my kids out in the evening. Sleep and routine is important to us and we also believe in early bedtimes. For the most part people have always been understanding.

If we were at someone’s house, I’d bring a pack play and put her down but I wouldn’t take her out in public when it’s her bedtime.

I might sound like a bad mom, but I usually never bring him out of the house before 5pm, staying out late. Either visiting my great-grandma or friends, or just taking him for a stroll. I’m a night person and he seems to be too🤷🏽‍♀️

We need to be home by at least 8 but  7 is better. I don't even leave her with my parents at night because she won't sleep with them like she does at home. It sucks and  my friends don't understand but it's what's best for her 🤷🏻‍♀️

Not often, but maybe once every other week we'll go to a friend's for supper and stay later than bed time. He's usually a little crankier the next day but it's worth it for us to have some adult socialization!
