MIL Facebook drama
I hardly use Facebook anymore (Insta is my jam) but my MIL is, I believe, addicted to it. Hubs and I left our Hawaii babymoon on Friday and as we were packing in our hotel room we were sent our maternity pics from our photographer that we did earlier that week. We took a moment and sent a few of our faves to our moms. Not 5 hours later as we were boarding our flight my MIL texted what I was dreading and asked if she could post some of them on fb. :/ Yes, at least she asked and yeah it’s her son and first grandchild and is excited but she has to put such a ego/bragging kind of vibe to everything. I was a little frank with her and said- could you wait a couple of days after I get home and view them some more and maybe post a few? Hubs and I knew this situation was going to happen- more so after baby comes. No doubt I’m not alone on this- these are the modern times with social media! What are some good ground rules to tell her/others to expect? Until I post something you have the green light..? Something to that effect?
