Weight lost

I’m 23 years old I have 2 children I’m married I weight 270 pound I need to lose to atoraste weight 180 and I will be happy . But the problem is idk what kinds of food to eat or how to meal prep . Any advice on how I can start and what steps to take . I know people say proteins but I’m not understand . As in I’m Hispanic and we eat a lot of meant chicken and all fried . HELP 😐😓😓
