How often do you hear about baby's size?

I'll be 29 weeks on Thursday, I've never been told how big or how much my baby weighs but I see posts all the time of other women talking about growth. I haven't liked my doctors office from the beginning but it's the only one close to my house, it seems like they never tell me any specific information, just that everything looks good. Should I be asking?

No one has told me my baby’s size either. I’m personally grateful they’re not obsessed with it, because it’s often inaccurate and doctors can make extreme choices based on a guesstimate. If they say everything looks good, I’d believe them.

I haven’t heard anything either. The last info I got regarding size and weight was my anatomy scan around 20 weeks, which is about 10 weeks ago now. I get where you’re coming from, but I’m assuming it’s all good. Keep in mind, if this is your first pregnancy ever they tend to keep an optimistic mindset in my opinion. Some women on here have had miscarriages or may be older and is why they’re receiving more tests as they are considered high risk.

No one has told me anything about size and didn’t with my last pregnancy either. Honestly I’ve heard it isn’t very accurate anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️

At our doc office, they don’t really get into much detail either. We have to ask if we want to know specific stuff and even then it may not be a straight answer lol.

Mine have with both pregnancies and I’m not high risk or anything. Never by weight but they always measure my stomach. Right now we’ve been talking about it a lot more because I am almost 30 weeks still measuring 26 so it is a concern.

Mine hasn’t told me either and I was talking about it with my mom this morning. All they ever say is “everything sounds good” which is good to hear but I always see posts too about others getting measurements etc.

High risk pregnancies get more information. Low risk pregnancies don’t get growth information. Don’t worry about it! You’re right on track.

Never been told my babys size other than at the 20 week scan. I think the only way you'll get told is if you are having regular scans and if you have a low risk pregnancy you dont get anymore after 20 weeks. Or unless they do growth scans for some reason.

My OBGYN has told me since 14 weeks and shown the growth curve of baby.  Especially because of my pregnancy being high risk.

I don’t know anything about baby size either besides the fundal measurement! Last time I was told his length and weight was at the 20 wk ultrasound. She did say if my fundal height increased at the next appointment that they’d do a growth scan to see how big he is. I’m 31 weeks and he’s measuring at 34.
