Membrane sweep successes?

39+5 and had my membranes sweeped today! It actually wasn’t too uncomfortable, but had a decent amount of bleeding afterwards. 
I’m 2cm and 80%, anyone else out there had this done with similar circumstances? Did it work or not work?

I had mine done yesterday, 39 weeks today and I was pretty sore after and had some contractions and was very crampy. Now today Iv been up on and off since 3am with contractions, cramping and nausea from my pain. Contractions 8 mins apart about a minute long. I was able to nap a bit on and off. 9 hours later and they got more intense but still at 8 mins and about a minute each. I was at 2cm yesterday hopefully making progress 🤞🏼

I had it done with my first and it didn't work. Had to be induced a week later

Didnt work with my first and didnt work with my second this time either. But it has other benefits rather than sending you into labor. Like it could dialate you more and such.

It hasn’t worked for me but I’m still trying this time. I’m due tomorrow and had my first one last week, second one I’m getting in a hour or so and then she said she’ll give me one every 2 days after today so hopefully that will work, I’ve only ever had them once a week.

I had it done Friday that just passed my ob said I was 3cm and cervix was ripe and still no baby lol I isn’t have any bleeding but later that night I was loosing parts of my mucus plug but that’s it 😩 going back this Friday and asking for another sweep 💕

Also had mine today I’m 38+1 and so far nothing. I’ve had some mild cramps but that’s it so far. Fingers crossed!

Had my check up with my OB last Wednesday, she checked me and said I was 1cm dilated and she could feel babies head so she did a membrane sweep to get things going. I went to get whatever else I needed ready just in case and walked a shit ton. That night around 11pm I started getting the contractions and kept going throughout the night. My water broke that Thursday around 2:30pm and baby was here at 10:55pm 💙

Had mine yesterday morning, had some contractions all afternoon and had my show/lost most of my plug but died off at bed time and now today feeling nothing. Hoping the next 24 hours bring me a baby!

I'm 38+1 and had a sweep today. Before the sweep I was 90% effaced and 1cm dilated. Doctor said my cervix is so soft that he stretched me to 3cm with the sweep. I've been having cramping and lower back pain with irregular contractions. Hopefully labor starts tonight or tomorrow!
