I need help with this decision!!

My 8 year old got invited to a sleepover birthday party at his friends house but I’m not sure I’m ready for him to stay the night at a friends house yet he’s in 2nd grade. I also don’t want him to have to leave the party early and be the only one that doesn’t get to stay... anyone got any input or have dealt with this?! TIA!!
