Cyst in my breast...

I am 18 weeks pregnant, and for the last couple of weeks I have noticed a small, hard bump in my breast.

We had our check up yesterday, so I brought it up to our OBGYN. She was kind and not dismissive, and gave me an exam. She said it’s most likely a cyst due to hormonal changes, but then recommended an ultrasound on it (mammograms are not advised during pregnancy). I will go in about 2 weeks.

I thought I felt okay about it, telling myself it’s going to be nothing, but I had a breakdown. We have a 2.5 year old daughter, and are expecting our second little girl.

My husband is so sweet and the most supportive partner ever. But I couldn’t help but think through the fact that something could happen to me that would take me from my young family. I am trusting God and that He is control, tomorrow is never guaranteed anyways.

I felt like posting this because I know we all are going through such massive changes, and as a reminder to lean on those close to us when we’re struggling 💛
