HSG or not for IUI

Hello. I’m 42 and 13 months ttc since loosing our wee one to genetics in November 2017.

Had hysteroscopy January this year and ob removed a polyp outside the right tube.

Starting iui next cycle and was chatting with nurse and asked her about possibly of blocked tube. Doc said I can for sure do a HSG but be few months before I can get in. She didn’t say I need to I’m just being overly cautious.

I’m paying for the IUIs ourselves. Will you take a chance to do the iui without the HSG or wait for the HSG and then do iui.

I’m waiting to hear back from the fertility doctor but love to hear your feedback.
