I don't know where else to post this. I thought here was the best option. Anyway, I'm sixteen years old. I was raised as one of Jehovah's witnesses. I made the choice at a young age to get baptized into the religion. Over the last year I have realized that I don't agree with the things they teach. But if I tell my parents that, I would be kicked out of the house, shunned from the congregation and my family; all at age 16. I don't know what to do. I don't have any friends to turn to because I've been homeschooled my whole life. I don't even have a car or my license, just my permit. Eventually my parents will figure out my views and I'll lose everything. I don't understand why they would do this. Just because I'm making a different choice than them. Have any of you been alone at 16, if so I could really use some advice.
