My baby doesn’t have a hematoma, but he has a bright spot on his heart and an echogenic bowel. I know it’s really scary to be told these sort of things but stay strong 💗 these things resolve themselves all the time!

I had a heavy bleed at 16-17 weeks. I went on bed rest until it resolved. Once it stopped bleeding, they saw there was a 1 cm blood clot. Never classified as a hematoma. Now the blood clot has disappeared and there is just some debris within the uterus. I’m 20 weeks tomorrow and all has been good since it stopped. Baby is perfectly healthy and growing. 
I was told that if any heavy red bleeding were to occur after 24 weeks they would admit me to the hospital the remainder of my pregnancy so I’m crossing my fingers that isn’t the case. 
What did your doctor tell you?
