Day 19 and No ovulation

If I'm on CD 19 but havent experienced ovulation does that mean I wont have it? Not really sure how long my cycles are since I have never had regular cycles until being on birth control. This is my first month off of it and my doctor told me I should carry a regular cycle (I was on the pill for 6 months). My tests started off negative but semi dark. Then got really really light. And how they seem to slowly be rising again...
