Had my 28 week scan yesterday and got to go back at 32, 36, and 40 for repeat growth scans he's measuring in the 90th percentile and the scanner said wow he's definitely got long legs he's weighing 2.8lb I'm 4ft 11 and my partner is 5 ft 11 anyone else had this and what is their experience with big baby? Thankyou

Same boat, baby’s measuring big in the 90th percentile but no evidence of GD or other causes. I think they just want to make sure he’s delivered before he gets too big 😬

I’m 5 ft and my first borns bio dad is 6’5”. They kept saying she’d be huge and she was only 7 pounds and 19 inches.

Wow what a height difference! Lol maybe that will save you a bit. I’m 5’8 my husband is 6’3 & our son was BIG! He weighed 9lbs 5oz. He’s still a pretty big guy all around now he’s 18 months and been wearing 2t-3t for about 3 months now! The experience was still very natural he did get stuck a few times during labor and I walked/ exercised during my entire pregnancy and I still felt exhausted pushing! I didn’t tear, my midwife was very patient and gentle & no one predicted he was really that big so it was quite a surprise. I healed fairly fast we live in a multiple story home & that wasn’t a problem for long that I remember. Hope this helps:)
