So I am 16 weeks pregnant and currently been living with my in laws for 4 weeks. My MIL has always had little digs at me but because we didn’t see her often it wasn’t so bad. So all month she’s been saying rude things etc pissing me off making me feel like I’m nothing and tonight I was sore and my husband was cooking she asks me “why don’t you ever help in the kitchen”? Mind you I cook every second night. I held my breath but my husband went off at her and his dad told him not too speak too his mother like that../ but I mean so it’s okay that she prods and antagonises me while PREGNANT?! I really hate her and want nothing too do with her but I’m very conscious of that’s my husbands parents and I can’t just cut them out but I am so upset that they literally hate me for what reason? I do a lot for them and drive them too their doctor appointments and buy them groceries try be respectful I’m just really stressed and defeated. Help :(
