Hello! So I’m thinking about getting the conch piercing! I have the industrial piercing and I am just curious if anyone has the conch piercing and how it felt getting it done? Pain wise and healing wise. I’m nervous to get it cause I heard it’s worse then the industrial and the industrial was a bitch to get. Hopefully you guys can help me out😊

oh yeah it hurt. it’s bc the cartilage is so thick. but honestly, it was tender for a few days, and then it... it’s not pain. like, sometimes, when i moved it, it didn’t hurt but u def felt it, u know? it’s hard to describe. it wasn’t actually as bad as ppl say it was for me, personally, but i have a high pain tolerance. for a few months after i still couldn’t sleep on it, but it’s no big. can hurt if someone bumps it. totally worth it imo, it’s super cute!!

my conch was super easy. my tragus hurt worse piercing wise🤪 healing wise, I was an idiot sandwich and put a hoop in like a month after I got it done and that postponed the healing until I put a straight barbell back in. it’s been like 8 months now and it’s perfect, I just put another hoop back in. 
the only downfall is cute jewelry is extremely hard to find without spending an arm and a leg. love it though!!

Buuut, honestly it’s hard to say, I just recently got my industrial (about almost 2mo ago) & mine barely hurt, it was a like 3/10. & I got my conch pierced when I believe I was about 19, so 3 years ago now. & honestly I don’t really remember All that much, but that’s a good thing! My healing process went really well (took about 5mo Max, not even) & from what I do remember from the initial piercing.. it was maybe a 4/10 max. It was a bit sore for a couple days, but definitely bearable. I have been told that I have “softer” cartilage but I’d definitely say to go for it!! I love my conch!
