I went into the ER on April 1st for really bad right kidney pain and was told that I either had kidney stones or kidney infection or was on the verge of having a miscarriage because there was blood in my urine.

Well, Tuesday, I started bleeding. But it was brown and old. Today, I’m still bleeding old blood. I went to my dr today and was told that my hcg beta from my Er visit showed 352 which is very low for being 6 weeks pregnant. Today they did another blood test and we will see if my levels have doubled.

Has anyone else had brown blood early in pregnancy? My theory is that I’m not really 6 weeks and that I’m probably around 4, especially since they did a vaginal sonogram and they weren’t able to see anything but the sac. From what I’ve read, thats normal for 4 weeks as well as my levels.

But I could also just be having miscarriage. I’m not a doctor. Sigh. So yeah, has anyone of you had brown blood early in pregnancy? Did it lead to MC? Any help would be great. This is our rainbow baby after losing our daughter at 15 weeks in January. Prayers for our family would also be appreciated.

UPDATE:

My levels dropped from 352 to 100. Definite miscarriage. At least I got 6 weeks with this baby. 😞😞
